Comprehensive video surveillance platform deployment across a 58-story Class A commercial tower in Midtown Manhattan. WES served as the primary security and network infrastructure integrator, responsible for full-building camera coverage, structured cabling, and VMS platform configuration.

Challenge

The project required coordinating security infrastructure installation across an active construction site with multiple concurrent trades. Cable routing through a complex curtain wall structure demanded precise pre-construction engineering to avoid conflicts with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Solution

WES deployed its prefabrication-first methodology — all network infrastructure components were pre-assembled and labeled off-site, enabling rapid on-site installation with minimal disruption. Every Cat6A run was Fluke DSX-8000 certified, and the complete installation was backed by a 25-year manufacturer performance warranty.

The project delivered Avigilon Alta Access Control and Avigilon Alta Video — a unified cloud-native platform purpose-built for tenants who require enterprise-grade security without reliance on base building infrastructure.

Challenge

As a tenant deployment, the system needed to operate entirely independently of the building's base security infrastructure. The client required a scalable, cloud-managed platform that their team could administer remotely — with no dependency on the landlord's systems, no on-premise server hardware, and full mobile credential support for their workforce.

WES deployed Avigilon Alta Access Control and Alta Video as a fully cloud-managed, tenant-owned security stack. The platform provides unified access control and video surveillance through a single cloud interface — eliminating on-premise hardware, enabling remote administration, and supporting mobile credentials and real-time video access from any device.

Project Scope

Emergency landing two-way communication systems and network infrastructure for a 30-story commercial tower in the Hudson Yards district. WES was brought in mid-construction to deliver compliant emergency communication systems and structured cabling on an accelerated timeline.

Challenge

The project had fallen behind schedule due to coordination failures between the general contractor and the previous systems integrator. WES was engaged with a compressed timeline to deliver NYC DOB-compliant emergency communication systems and complete network infrastructure before the building's certificate of occupancy deadline.

Solution

WES leveraged its off-site prefabrication methodology to compress the installation timeline. Emergency communication system components were fully assembled and tested in our facility before arriving on-site, enabling plug-and-play installation that minimized disruption to the active construction environment.

Project Scope

Delivered an integrated security, video surveillance, and network platform from consultation through installation and commissioning for a residential property in Brooklyn. All major low-voltage components were prefabricated off-site to streamline deployment and reduce on-site disruption.
